About Grace Ministries of India
Grace Ministries of India (GMI) is a registered nongovernmental organisation (NGO) functioning in sixteen states of India since more than 30 years. It has multi-faceted activities for the upliftment of the poor, marginalized, oppressed and deprived society in the nation. GMI is headed by an Executive Board of 21 members elected from the General Body in its tenure.
Dr. D.J. Ajithkumar is the founder of the organization. GMI is engaged in giving education and health facility to the rural mass of our country.

Rev. Dr. D.J. Ajith Kumar
Rev. Dr. D.J. Ajith Kumar has been in social and spiritual service since more than 35 years, preaching and teaching in India and abroad. He is an ordained Presbyter in the CNI presently working as the Director & Secretary of Stewardship Committee of the Diocese of Phulbani, Church of North India (CNI).
After he did his B.Tech, he did his Master’s Degree (M.A) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Sociology from Annamalai University. He did his Theological studies – Bachelor of Christian Studies (B.C.S) with the Senate of Serampore College. Further, he took Master in Theology (M.Th) from the Wales University (U.K). He also did his doctoral studies (Ph.D) in Sociology on ‘Education and Tribal Development’ in Annamalai University. His studies in the field of Yoga (M.Sc and P.G.D.C in Yoga) helped to pave the way to present the Gospel in indigenous and indianised approach to the thousands of our countrymen. He has obtained Teachers Training Course in Yoga from the Yoga International Alliance, New Delhi. He has also done Diploma in Buddhism from the Mahabodhi Academy of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Bangalore.
Apart from the spiritual activities he had also presented many research papers in various National and International seminars and conferences in the discipline of Sociology. He is a life member of Indian Sociological Society (ISS), New Delhi and Indian Academy of Social Sciences (IASS), Allahabad. He is working as the Dean of Post Graduate Department of TAFTEE, a leading Theological Institute in India. Senior Mentor and Faculty of Sociology and Research Methodology in the Post Graduate course in TAFTEE.

He is the author of several academic as well as devotional books. “The Guruverse” (Teachings of Christ) and “Church Planting & Church Growth in Rural India” are well known and widely circulated. Some of his songs in Christian music are widely sung irrespective of the Churches.
He is blessed with two children - Abhishek and Vivek. Abhishek has done his MBBS and presently working as Doctor. Vivek, after done BTech (Civil) in College of Engineering, Trivandrum, he is doing PG Diploma in Interior Designing - An Architectural course in Bangalore. Both of them have dedicated their lives for the Lord’s ministry. His wife, Mini is engaged in full time ministry working in the office of the GMI.
He had founded the Grace Ministries of India (GMI) a Missionary Organisation which has multi-faceted activities like Resident Missionary work, Mobile Tent Ministry, Christian Ashrams, Happy Family Mission and Theological Institute for Mission and Evangelism Studies etc.
Presently, the Rev.Dr.D.J. Ajith Kumar is spending much of his time in Shanti Ashram at Nagpur.
